Egg Coated Peanuts


Egg coated peanuts are a popular snack in Indonesia. I am making the sweet version in order to tame my sweet tooth. For a savoury version, try adding some garlic, coriander seeds or even chili powder ^^

Egg Coated Peanuts

Ingredients:
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
70 gr sugar
150 gr peanuts
200 gr flour and sago flour

Method:
1) Combine egg, salt, vanilla and sugar, mix well. 
2) Add peanuts, mix well.
3) Coat peanuts with flour and sago flour. Shake off excess flour.
4) Deep-fry until golden brown over medium heat. 
5) Drain excess oil. Set aside to cool. Store in airtight container.
