Cheese Sago Cookies



You can find these cookies almost everywhere during chinese new year. They are melt-in-your-mouth cookies that are perfect for serving family and guests. Since the cookies are made for chinese new year, they have to be stored far far away, or me and J will keep grabbing, munching and gobbling them away :D

Cheese Sago Cookies

Ingredients:
100 gr margarine
125 gr sugar
1 egg
25 ml milk
300 gr sago flour
100 gr grated cheddar cheese

Method:
1) Dry fry sago flour over low heat for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
2) Cream margarine and sugar till fluffy.
3) Add egg, mix until well combined.
4) Add milk, mix until well combined.
5) Add sago flour, mix until well combined.
6) Add cheese, mix until well combined.
7) Place batter in a pastry bag fitted with a star tip.
8) Pipe into a lightly greased baking tray.
9) Bake at 170 deg C for 15 minutes.

Yield:
90 cookies
